Boy, I was really disappointed with Cal’s effort tonight against USC. When was the last time Cal showed up and played well against a good team? The QB’s manage to look horrible when the chips are on the line and this is supposed to be Tedofrd’s forte. Last year against USC we stunk it up. In the Holiday bowl against Texas Tech, we said the lack of focus was due to being screwed out of the Rose Bowl by Texas. When we needed a big win at Southern Miss we managed to squeak by. This year at Tennessee it was opening game jitters. Come on, it’s time for these guys to show up for a big game once in a while. This team averaged 36 points per game this year and couldn’t get 100 yards of offense in the 2nd half. Isn’t it time to play rather than talk their way into the big time?
