Looks like things are really picking up given the game in 2 weeks. Thanks for the updates. Losing Ta’ufo’ou is a bummer but reports say 3-4 weeks.

re: special teams, my guess is the KO in returns in practice are relative. KO defense is a bit of kamakazi action so no one is going to make a flying open field tackle and potentially hurt someone. My guess is it’s about tempo and coverage. Generally Cal’s special teams have been v. good the past few years (even w/ minus DJ’s huge plays).

I’m trying to figure out if 2 KO returns for TDs (neither by DJ) is a good thing for us or a bad thing. Is that a sign that we’ve got some stud returners? Or is it more Special Teams rust?

Thanks for the update — the news on Will T is dissapointing…in the end, i hope his injury isn’t too severe.

I (think) I read about Zack Smith this summer — he’s the Duke transfer right? I read he is a “freak” in a good way — as in being super strong?

I know Forsett is durable, but who wouldn’t want a lead block now and again?
