Tennessee stories

Here are a couple of links to stories that appeared in the Knoxville News Sentinel the past cuople of days:

–Quarterback Erik Ainge had no problems in practice Thursday and appears on track to start depsite a broken pinky on his throwing hand.

–Apparently, Tennessee All-American safety Jonathan Hefney isn’t impressed that Cal is handing out megaphones to the game.

I hope that the Cal players are reading these types of comments. It doesn’t seem like Tennessee has ANY respect at all for Cal.

  • Brandon

I hope some of the messages posted on the knoxknews.com message boards after the UT and Cal articles make it to the Cal players. Aside from showing how uninformed UT fans are, it should fire the Cal players up nice and good.

They are just jealous. Those arent the nice Vol fans I was speaking of earlier.

I don’t need Hefney to be “impressed” with the megaphones, just unable to hear because of them. Then we’ll see his reaction. he, he, he…

  • ItsGreatToBeATnVol

You are going to need more than megaphones come tomorrow night!!!

  • MoreNCsarecoming

Just beat them. We in the Pac 10 had to put up with enough of the humiliating banter all year long.

  • Bears and more Bears

All this talk about noise and such isn’t going to affect the Vols as much as our secret weapon…the visitors’ locker room. I hear it’s about the same class as a second rate high school. That will put them off their games.
