This is the first time Cal hasn’t scored in the first quarter since last year’s game against Washington on Oct. 21.

It’s half time and Cal is behind 10 -3: let’s all stay calm AND positive! Go bears!

#3 Oklahoma has lost to unranked Colorado…

#5 West Virginia has lost to #18 South Florida…

Such an opportunity for Cal if they can come back and win this.

That penalty by Marcus Ezeff as well as yet another dropped catch by Craig Stevens doesn’t have me feeling too happy right now. Three penalties for 20 yards (and an eventual TD) in the first half; at least we’re under our average. (Oregon has had two penalties, so far, for 15 yards.)

We have a chance for something special if we can just get something going on offense.
