		<description><![CDATA[The bowl bids aren&#039;t automatically handed out in order of conference standings; the bowls are given their choice (except the Rose Bowl, which might be contracted to take the conference champion...not that it would do otherwise). So that means the Holiday Bowl gets its choice of all the other Pac-10 bowl eligble teams, then the Sun Bowl, then the Emerald Bowl, then the Las Vegas Bowl...and it&#039;s quite likely the Emerald Bowl would rather take Cal over UCLA, since Cal is closer, and UCLA played there last year.]]></description>
