Wrapping up DeSean

As a final thought on DeSean Jackson’s decision to go pro, I think he made the right decision. If you believe the prognosticators, Jackson likely won’t go any later than the middle of the first round. That’s very hard to pass up. How much would Jackson increase his stock by coming back to school? Even if he moved up a few spots in the draft, would it be worth the risk of injury or giving up a year of making that much money? Yes, there is something to be said about being a college student and not rushing to get through that part of life. And if Jackson would have stayed in school for that reason, I think that would have been great. But when weighing all the factors involved, Jackson’s decision to jump to the NFL was a no-brainer.
