Hey Fedup — OK let’s agree that Tedford’s poor clock management and excessive QB loyalty are right on 100% true and have hurt the program and your calls for tedford’s head are valid based on these issues.

how do you rate the recruiting? how do you rate player academics? program presige? campus pride? alumni donations? win-loss record? winning seasons?

then look at cal’s head coaching history since kapp since that covers most of the collective memory –
kapp, snyder, gilbertson, maricucci, holmoe. nothing on this list indicates that cal would be able to either draw a good coach, or be able to hold on to one that was successful?

this isn’t a “hey remember holmoe” rants, this is a look at the entire modern history of cal football rant. you just don’t get it.

…the glass is half full man. i hope it gets fuller, but in the meantime I don’t go around pissing in other cal fans milk.

You can call me all the names you want but the fact is that NL failed to score vs Air Force & Riley scored on every drive except when Tedford screwed the clock management at the half. Would DJ & LH have helped NL? Well, they didn’t when NL lost the 6 previous games & looked HORRIBLE in the process. Bottom-line, Cal would’ve lost to Air Force had it not been for Riley and Riley didn’t deserve your sarcastic comments. The fact is, however, that none of that seems to matter to Tedford. Just like he stuck with Ayoob, Tedford will stick with Longshore; continuing to blame NL’s (inevitably poor) performance on receivers, harsh media critics, and fans.We’ve seen it all before — TWICE — and we’ll see it again (and again) as long as Tedford remains at Cal. Sad, but true.
