Just received word that Comcast Sports Net West is picking up three games this season — at Washington State on Sept. 6, against Colorado State on Sept. 27 and at Arizona on Oct. 18. As reported earlier, the Washington State and Arizona games were already picked up by local Fox Sports Net affilliates. Rather than try to pick up the production from the opponent, Cal went to CSN West to try to get its own production done.
The game times for Washington State (3:30 p.m.) and Arizona (7 p.m.) stay the same. The Colorado State game has been set for 3 p.m.
As a reminder, CSN West isn’t available on expanded basic in the Bay Area, but in the past the network has found an over-the-air channel to show the game on as well, so viewers without digital can still see the game. No word yet if that will be the case with these three games, but it’s probably likely. CSN West is available on Channel 400 on digital packages.
