The depth chart is a carry over of the pre-spring roster. Fisher is still with the ones on the O-line and has been all summer. He is now 290lbs. Chet will probably start, but Schwartz is getting much better and will have a shot at the spot.

So, I'm confused. Matt Laird is listed as both a backup tackle and long snapper, but in one case, he's a junior, and the other, he's a sophomore. I'm sure he redshirted, but it's confusing as to whether he has two more years or only one after this one.

JO,
Nice work on the great Cal coverage leading up to camp. Really enjoy it. I believe the DT's will be a key part of Cal's record this year, a good year could turn into a great season if these guys disrupt Olinemen the way they are supposed to. Does Mika Kane have it in him to be a difference maker? I have watched him closely and he appears to have the size and strength to play on Sunday but he only displays that talent a couple times a game. The rest of the time he seems to disappear. Hill and Jones should be solid too but Kane as the SR is the key IMO.
