Pac-10 media has begun. Tom Hansen has made his opening remarks and Washington is first up at the podium. Coach Tyrone Willingham and quarterback Jake Locker are fielding questions.

One interesting tidbit already. The preseason media poll has been released and not surprisingly USC has been picked to win the title. But the Trojans didn’t get every first place vote. One first place vote went to another team, and that team is none other than Cal! Taht’s right, USC got 38 first place votes and Cal got the 39th and final one.

Cal was picked to finish fourth. The poll was as follows:
