Reviewing the weekend:

–Some of you may have seen my Sunday story about Nate Longshore. No matter who you believe should be Cal’s quarterback, there’s no question it’s been an up and down ride for the fifth-year senior.

–You’ll have to scroll down a bit, but ESPN.com’s Ted Miller continued his “Best Cast-Worst Case” package by taking a look at the Bears. Pretty entertaining stuff.

–DeSean Jackson had a pretty nice debut with the Eagles.
