Thanks for the Desean update J.O.
What the article didn’t mention is that Desean played the entire game! That is practically unheard of in a second pre-season game, especially for a rookie player who was originally projected for the fourth receiver slot.

What does this mean? I could be wrong, bu it sure looks like the Eagles are doing everything possible to get DeSean up to speed for a starting position in the season opener. I would expect to read that Jackson is working exclusively with the first team offense during future practice sessions. It didn’t take long for the Eagles to identify DeSeans talent and now they are scrambling to get him prepared for a starting position. Good for him! His success will reflect well on Cal football.

Been lovin’ your coverage of current and former fans.

How bout incorporating questions and feedback from the comments section into your blog? Would be a great way to answer questions from readers and connect with everyone here without having to respond to every comment.

Looking forward to more great coverage as the season starts!

LaVelle Hawkins catches two passes for Tenn. Titans including 51 yard TD reception. Cal recivers are doing well thus far.

If both DeSean and Lavelle turn out to become starters and do well in the NFL it will show how much they were really held back by the quarterback play last year.
