Goldie, Best has been through every test known to man. Believe me, Cal was incredibly cautious with him. He wouldn’t be out there if there was even a shadow of a doubt he wasn’t healed.
Cal does timing over the summer.

Big D, it was each team’s 1st game. I bet both teams will have different outcomes in two or three weeks.

Just wondering. Has Jahvid Best had a recent MRI to confirm that everything is A-OK with his rehabbed hip? We’ve all read reports how he feels fine but doesn’t it make sense to verify his condition before subjecting him to game conditions?

Another question. Does Cal routinely time all the players at spring or fall practice? I remember Tedford talking about how certain guys “looked fast”. How come the only time we see player’s 40 yard dash times published are in high school scouting reports and NFL combine reports? I would think they’re timed between entering college and the NFL draft, but it never seems to get mentioned.
