Believe it or not, Cal is about to open Pac-10 play for the 2008 season. Starting the conference season so early has its share of challenges.
Here’s ESPN’s Ted Miller’s take on the Bears-Cougars game: California 40, Washington State 24: Cal will be a little flat after a big win last week, and the Cougars will come out fighting in front of their home fans. But, eventually, the Bears’ talent will create separation and punish Coug mistakes.
Cal center Alex Mack continues to write diary entries for the Sporting News’ new online edition. You can access them at calbears.com.
Martin Stadium will look a little different when Cal shows up this time.
It looks like the Cougars come into this one pretty banged up.
WSU running back Dwight Tardy continues to come back from knee surgery.

Does this mean it’s all over and we won?
September 4th, 2008 at 8:54 pm
nope. another appeal tomorrow with state supreme court. not sure how long that takes. then, not sure if they can take it to the us supreme court. then it’s the galactic supreme court. i think it ends there, though. God won’t hear cases from any Berkeley groups.

It’s all over. State supreme court will not take this case. No way. Even so, Cal is able to start construction right now if they want. It will take nothing short of a miracle within a miracle for anything to stop it.

Hello, Do you think that Cal supreme Court will stop Cal University to build the facility that benefit the Cal which representing the State. It is a joke.
Do you think that a Father will slap his own son for building his play house. Which one weight in more. some planted oak trees or the Hope and Future of Cal Athletic programs, which starting to be sucessful in all phases of Cal sports, and Cal represented a record of olympians and metals in China.
Go Bears! Bring the chainsaw. Ah, a Fire engine water gun too.

As a USC fan I am really really glad this is finally happening. Now there will be no excuse as to why we beat and dominate you every year.

Mills doesn’t have a football team and I was definitley not going to root for Cal. So I decided to be an ‘SC fan.

Mills College doesn’t have a football team, but from the looks of the girls there, if they did I’m sure they could kick the crap out of most of the SEC. Not sure about LSU, I have no doubt they’d dope slap Tennessee like everyone else on the West coast the past two years. HOw could Tennessee lose to UCLA? They have runners like Chester on Gunsmoke, a QB with an arm like Bob Dole, and a line with diamond lane expressways through it, and Tennessee still choked. And all I heard from the dudes on front of me was “SEC Football!” What a load.

Morons, I will never say SC isn’t a great football program. You can beat us every year, but you still have to go home to the ghetto. SC sucks.
September 5th, 2008 at 10:26 am
Moron doesn’t go home to the ghetto. His obsession with hating Cal is pretty wacked, but part of it is that he doesn’t attend SC games. Too afraid to go back to the ghetto. So he lives in Sacramento with his daddy and mommy (he didn’t finish law school — notice how he can post all day — unemployed) and comes to the Cal games with his daddy.
He hates Cal but attends their games. He supposedly loves SC but never goes to their games. Typical Moron.

And who, exactly, is this “we”? Not a student, not an alumnus, not on the faculty or staff, so where does the “we” come from other than someone with no life trying to live vicariously through a corrupt college sports program?
