Hey, folks. Obviously there is a lot of good stuff to go over from the game. I just finished up my work for the paper and now my travel plans have me hitting the road. Check back tomorrow for lots of follow-up.

By the way, J.O., this . . .

. . . did not happen. At least on Comcast standard cable in San Francisco, Channel 99 was all static. You might want to look into what went wrong. People on the Cal message boards are saying they called Comcast representatives and they had no idea they were supposed to have the game on that channel.

Back in the top-25! I’m really surprised by this like the tree-huggers were when the trees came tumbling down. What a great week for Cal Football!
CalAlum, do I owe you a beer in 2 years?
JO – when are you going to change your banner? Here’s my humble recommendation, you’ll need to put a couple of defensive players as well as Riley and Best. I suggest Syd and Follett. For good luck’s sake, do it man!
Go Bears!

Shay,
I was able to get the game on Ch.99. You needed to have a cable box. My experience with COMCAST has not been positive at all, but they are the only cable service in Berkeley!

If you are in an area that offers AT&T U-verse, I’ve heard really good things about that service and would recommend looking into it.

Big D, the problem is that Cal’s press release specifically said it would be available to non-digital customers (and Okanes’ report implied this as well). It was not, which means someone screwed up somewhere.

The video of DeSean was pulled by Youtube due to copyright issues, but I did hear the NBC commentators yesterday talking about him as a candidate for rookie of the year.

But, don’t tell anyone else, especially someone from NBC.
