Football: Line shuffle

On the last possession, the Bears went with Donovan Edwards at right tackle for the last couple of plays. That came after Matt Laird was called for holding and was beaten for a sack. Edwards has taken reps at left tackle all year as MItchell Schwartz’s backup, but he’s playing the right side now.

This is a most critical area for the Bears.
The O-LINE has been weakened considerably given Chet Teofilo’s ankle and then Laird going out with a shoulder injury after being beaten for a sack and called for holding, as Mr. Okanes points out above.

There was a ton of press this week about Mark Boskovich finally getting to the top of the depth-chart and having an opportunity to make an impact . . . Sadly, he was getting blown off the ball and totally “schooled” by the UCLA D-Line the entire first half.

Coach Michalczik obviously has his hands full.
    The O-Line needs some help!
