Basketball: Will (Jamaal) Wilkes get Hall pass?

A good story in the L.A. Times on former UCLA All-America and Warriors/Lakers star Jamaal Wilkes’ long-time bid to earn a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Wilkes is seen regularly these days at Haas Pavilion, watching his son, junior Jordan Wilkes, play center for Cal.

No hall of fame for his son. Jordan is about the weakest starting 7 footer in college basketball. Can’t rebound to save his life and slow as molasses. His only focus in the off season should be gaining weight, boxing out and cleaning the glass. thats the only way he’ll make it.
