Cal has finally named its replacement for Jim Michalczik as offensive line coach, bringing on longtime college and NFL coach Steve Marshall. Marshall has been around for a long time, coaching at several colleges and two NFL teams. He’s also served stints as offensive coordinator. Apparently, Marshall isn’t wasting any time because he’s already on the road recruiting and unavailable for comment today.

Sounds like a great hire. Happy to hear he’s already recruiting. Speaking of which…
JT and the rest of the staff, sounds like you have a very good class so far but FINISH BIG!
Go Bears!

Something that jumps out on his experience listed is that all but one job he had lasted no more than 1-2 years. Why is that?

Larry, you should be considering the success he has had at some spots, not worrying about his movements.

I agree with Larry. It is very obvious that Marshall has moved around a lot.
JO – please ask JT if he was concerned about how long Marshall will stay. Thanks.
