Cal football: Yes, he will call the plays

For those wondering, Andy Ludwig will call the plays. That means Jeff Tedford can keep the same arrangement as last season — still remain heavily involved with offensive game plans and schemes but without the burden of calling the plays on Saturday.

How much do Cal fans like the shovel pass? According to Duck fans, Andy loves it! I’d wait and see Bear fans before you hail Andy as the second coming. The fall won’t be so hard.

As long as they shovel the ball to Jahvid Best and he continually busts through the d-line on his way to a long TD run, I’m OK witrh it.
