Sheesh, you have to take a couple of days off and look what happens. Seems there was a lot going on the past few days. Let’s catch up:

–Here’s my feature on quarterback Kevin Riley that ran Sunday.

–My fill-in, Ben Enos, held a live chat following Saturday’s scrimmage. Here’s a transcript.

–The Bears received a huge commitment from one of the nation’s top defensive tackles

–Sad news: Former Cal coach Bruce Snyder passed away Monday after a bout with cancer.

OK, back at it for practice tonight. I’ll have a report afterward.

J.O. can you give an update a little on specific players who have been impressive recently?
Also, what group as of now look like starters on the O-Line?

Robert, Brock Mansion seems to be improving. I like Covaughn DeBoskie, but I’ve always thought he looks good at practice. Alex Lagemann is coming on receiver. The first unit on the offensive line is Mike Tepper at LT, Mark Boskovich at LG, Chris Guarnero at C, Chet Teofilo at RG and Mitchell Schwartz at RT.
