Cal football: Sundberg to Carolina

Former Cal long snapper Nick Sundberg signed a free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers immediately after the draft last night. HIs agent, Ryan Tollner, said a handful of teams pursued Sundberg but Carolina was the best option. Tollner said the Panthers don’t currently have a long snapper on their roster that has ever snapped in an NFL game.
