I’m sure the coaches gave the company line of “do your due diligence,” and that players should always seek the best fit, but this decommit is concerning. Especially given how Cal had trouble with some commits last year. I suspect this is a bright young guy who is just trying to keep his options open in an honest way.

However, psychology research clearly says that if you have enough facts, go with your gut and stick to it.

Dont worry he will go to CAL. I go to Oaks Christian High School with him and he constantly talks to me about CAL. He loves it. He told me months before he first “committed” that he was gonna be going to CAL.

Until Cal can win some big games(USC,UCLA in LA) top recruits are going to be wary of coming to Cal. I feel the Tedford momentum is losing steam. This is a big year.

I like that kid. check out his videos on Scout. I hope the bear won’t miss out this guy in our own backyard, if Cal is not able to get the #1 Heap. He is high on Cal. Last year he threw for 3500 yds, and 39 tds. That is impressive. And, look at his throw. Similar to Heap.
