Steve has the right idea, McLOVIN. I try to post items related to Pac-10 teams that I believe may be of interest to Cal fans. Recent posts involving USC are the result of the Trojans being in the news. I’m sure Cal fans are happy the Bears don’t have the NCAA snooping around and haven’t had recruits defect to other schools. As always, when there is Cal news, I will try to get it to you first. In the meantime, I post the other stuff for fans who want to keep up with what’s happening in the Pac-10.

Jeff’s covering all things Pac-10 because these things affect Cal. Of course, USC happens to be in the news a lot more because it’s not everyday a coach gets busted for paying his players. Good for them though, they’ll really need these 3 points per game that Johnson gives them since the rest of their players are jumping off a sinking ship.

So what you are saying is that you wish this blog was more like USC?

Face it, there just isn’t a whole lot of news out there in the world of marquee college sports (i.e., football and basketball). This affects Cal, which is projected to be the favorite for the Pac-10 title next year based on the fact that they lose less talent than any other front-runner, including U$C.

I find it odd that two of last five articles written are about USC sports. On a Cal blog? I wonder how many of the articles on the USC blog are about Cal sports. My guess is very few, if any.
