As for Okanes’ ballot – he is clueless as usual. UW has plenty of talent on its rosters. UW will surprise few teams. Should have put pucla or U of G@y as #9, but oh well, what can you expect from a clueless wannabe.

And with a less experienced defense around him, he won’t have the same stats as last year. Again proving that he should have listened to Mark Sanchez instead of me, Pete Carroll and gone to the NFL. Let’s see, Matt Leinart lost millions by waiting a year when he could have been the number one pick in the draft over Alex Smith. Give credit to Sanchez for being smarter that Leinart and Mays.

Regardless of Taylor Mays studliness, the SC defense will not be as good as last year. The Cal offense is very likely to improve.

OK Rocko glad to know someone other than me around here can actually converse about football. There is no doubt we have gaps to fill. Don’t we always? Our great players are 3 and done. Knowing this, PC has recruited the best in the land and our practices are intense and game like. Imagine practicing against players who would start on any DI team. You have cause to fear that our replacements will be better than those we have lost. Mays is the #1 draft pick in 2010. Along with Pinkard, Shareece and Harris our secondary is the best in the land. Griffen will be a stud. Galippo would have started on any team last year. Look out for Morgan.

BTW I also hear from my source that Tupou will be the most improved player on the defense. You remember him don’t you?

I vote for J.O. using a spam filter to block MoroN and Iamanidiot from trashing the site. Although Abe is right about ignoring such idiots, for new or infrequent readers, their infantile and attention-seeking nonsense is difficult to disregard without comment. In the meantime, I am really hopeful regarding the Bears’ prospects this fall and am delighted that time before the season begins is getting so short. Go Bears! Beat the Terps!
