Not suprisingly, Cal punter Bryan Anger has been named to the Ray Guy Award watch list for 2009. Anger was a semifinalist for the award last season

Not surprisingly, Anger will get a lot of action as BURQAlee offense will struggle mightily. Can’t ask for more if you are a punter and your team goes 3 and out all the time!

JO — On chat yesterday, you said that Ryan Theimer was Bryan Anger’s back-up, but he’s no longer on the roster and not mentioned in the CalBears.com camp preview. Is there a back-up?
