Cal cornerback Syd’Quan Thompson has been named to the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Award, given annually to the nation’s top defensive player.

Robert Woods to USC. The rich get richer.

There are other quality fish (WRs) in the sea (California fertile football pastures). 5-star Kenny Stills is still on the table and supposedly faster than Woods. Plus, Cal already has 3 commits at WR that hardly make our Bears poor.

I feel the synergy with the rich/poor theme… The 2009 Bears aren’t poor. The Bears under Holmoe were poor. Government cheese poor. The 2009 Bears are solid middle class and should expect a middle class Bowl (Holiday, Diamond Nut, etc.)
