Could you suggest to Coach Tedford that a coach’s challenge of the uncalled safety would have been a prudent thing to do. I seem to recall that within the last two seasons or so, we got shafted on another safety that was not called by the refs.

Don’t think that should be a real problem in Minnesota. It’s not directly on the coast where it’s the most humid, like Maryland. Plus it’s far enough in to be one hour closer time-zone-wise. I don’t have any personal experience with Minnesota, so I really couldn’t say, but that’s my 2 cents.

I think the bigger issue of traveling East is not the time difference but the humidity. Having lived in the South, it can be like hitting a brick wall without some sort of acclimation. Ideally, you would do some sort of running/sprinting the day (or two) before to get your body used to it. I’m surprised that none of the players have talked about the heat/humidity issues that bogged them down at Maryland & UT.
