Basketball: 2011 prospect Caudill back on market

The Arizona Republic reported that Kyle Caudill, a 6-11, 260 pound center from the class of 2011, has withdrawn his oral commitment from Arizona State and will re-examine his options. Does that mean Caudill — rated by scout.com as the No. 9 center prospect in 2011 — is back on Cal’s recruiting board?

All we know for sure is that Caudill listed Cal among about eight schools he was considering before first picking ASU. Caudill averaged 16.3 points and 12.0 rebounds as a sophomore last season at Brea Olinda HS in southern California.

According to the Arizona Republic, Caudill’s father told Rivals that his son’s decision was a “quest to make sure we get as much information as we can.”

Other schools possibly in the mix include Oregon State, USC, Stanford, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Wake Forest.

    Hey JF:
I thought before you went on vacation you said were going to come back and talk about how the Point Guard recruiting has been heating up. Have I missed something?
