The Bears should handle Washington State though I remember Jason Hill tearing them up a few years back.

I’d like to see them in the Sun Bowl. Has Cal ever been in the Sun Bowl? I know El Paso isn’t the most glamorous spot to go but the game usually has a pretty good match up and it’s an old, traditional game.

I’m hoping Giorgio pulls back into the lead as kicker… We need to develop one of em, and Giorgio went to my high school haha

Let’s hope these “guaranteed routes” Riley and the receivers had mentioned keep developing… IF they can consistently get the 5-15yd passing plays to work, the Bears will be in the top 4 teams in the pac-10 come December… Hopefully top 3…

but like Rollonubears has said… lets beat Wazzu first…

Even if D’Amato is healthly, Tavecchio looked much better on both kickoffs and extra points. D’Amato’s last extra point looked like a dying quail, Jahvid runs faster than it was moving. Tavecchio, likely pumped because he was in there, actually drilled them. And he amazingly got a kickoff to the endzone. Perfect time to make the switch.

CAL will get either the Sun Bowl or Las Vegas Bowl which will be the bigger Bowl this year over the Emerald Bowl. There is still a slim outside chance for the Rose Bowl or Holiday Bowl.

Both ESPN bowl pickers have Stanfurd in a bowl game. These guys get paid? I will be amazed if the Furd finishes .500 or better. They have only beaten (barely) one semi-respectable team, fUCLA, that the Bears just blew out on the road.

Stanfurd stands a better chance of losing out over going to a bowl.

Yep, the ASU game might be broiling during the day, but it’s not like it gets cooler at night. But I just remember the last time we played ASU. It started out okay, and then we got swamped. Something about the night seems to juice those guys (and their crowd) up. I like our chances during the day.

That’s extremly good news about the Arizona state game, the fact that the game won’t be a Halloween night game should make it a slightly less hostile crowd. This will still be a huge challenge for the bears, but it could have been worse.
