–Jeff Tedford on Covaughn DeBoskie-Johnson’s hurdle: “Covaughn will be telling us about that for awhile.”

–Lost in garbage time down the stretch: Michael Calvin caught his first pass of the season

–Wide receiver Nyan Boateng failed to catch a pass, and Tedford said he’s still not 100 percent recovered from his foot injury.

–Backup nose tackle Kendrick Payne returned to action for a couple plays after missing the past few games with a foot injury.

–J.P. Hurrell got some rare reps at linebacker
