Basketball: CBS Sportsline picks UW over Cal

Gary Parrish of CBS Sportsline has no qualms about going against the choice of the Pac-10 media, although he does acknowledge ” betting against Montgomery probably isn’t the wisest move.” Still, Parrish picks Washington to win the Pac-10, and projects Husky sophomore Isaiah Thomas as the league’s player of the year.

I can see why he went with UW. We only beat them twice last year.

His analysis is fair enough. I think you can make a case for either team, and his reasoning is sound.
