MoreNCs = 9dwarfs = Amy

Actually Amy looks to be a Bonnie in real life - http://fannation.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/users/view_user_profile/88305. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sorry to disappoint you but I didn't do that. Looks like the Folsom trio is up to their old tricks. Thanks for pointing it out to me. It is just like the many times the same thing has been done to me over the years and I just ignore it. It looks to have been done in 2007. Makes sense too because that was when your program went through the greatest collapse in college football history and you really didn't have much to do except to imitate.

Bonnie is a funny name. I would disguise myself, too. I have an old aunt named Bonnie. She wears too much perfume. Then there is Bonnie Hubbard, and Bonnie Parker of Bonnie and Clyde. Those are the famous Bonnies. A name for a generic line of foods, and a criminal. Sounds about right.

MikeD, thanks again for making this board safe to visit on a daily basis.

I waded into the sewer that is the chron's Cal Board. Over half the posts are by the troll or those obsessed by the troll. I'll pass.

Like KR, I am hopeful that last night was what Giorgio needed to takes his game to the next level.

So many personalities, in need of so much help.

And back on topic - Vereens pass looked to be more of a shot-put than a pass. In baseball terms that would have been considered a "dead bird" as it floated down with far too many defenders surrounding it.

No, I don't think Vereen's throw was a wonderful call. I think it was dumb and a near catastrophe.

I think they took the shot at the TD, though, because they were as afraid of sending Tevecchio back out there as I was.

Bears please keep this thing in perspective. We are winning! Sure, I would have loved to have beaten Oregon and U$C but that didn't happen. Obviously there are a couple of deficiencies on our rosters that did not allow us to take the next step. Keep the faith, we have the right coach and very soon we'll have the right facilities and we have a great University. Our time is coming so, in the interim? Stop whining!

Please meet the9drawfs. You two can console each other now that SC has proven itself to be a pretender. Where do you think SC will be bowling this year? Pack your bags as you will be leaving town.

Hmm. Since Aaron Rodgers left (and I'll leave out the entire lack of preparation and the foolish play-calling in the Holiday Bowl that year):

Regular season records (if one wants to count our Bowl games since 2004, I suppose that is ok, but the Las Vegas Bowl, the Emerald Bowl, and the Armed Forces Bowl are not impressive given our talent, especially when all three were much closer than they should have been because...of coaching).

2005: 7-4. Maybe we should excuse the coaching because Longshore was injured and Ayoob was not what everyone thought he would be. Or maybe one remembers the Oregon game and ask why Ayoob was throwing in overtime.

2006: 9-3. It could have been a fantastic year (and did end on a pretty good note), but the poor coaching for the Arizona game (just watch the last drive and remember how many time outs we had left) and the U$C game cost us a magical season. Think about the talent on that team.

2007: 6-6. Does this season need any explanation?

2008: 8-4. An ok year, but it is remembered for exceptionally poor handling of the QB situation and how the team could not, again, win a game on the road it needed to win.

But maybe Pug thinks Vereen's throw in the endzone was a wonderful call. And that we really, really deserved to win because of our creative play-calling.

Yes, Oregon is that good. However, there was still no excuse for Cal's offense in the Cal-Oregon game. Three points!?
