Ex-Cal star Ryan Anderson, who averaged 17.3 points and was shooting 55 percent from 3-point range for the Orlando Magic through three games, cooled off Tuesday night. He shot just 2-for-14 — and 1-for-11 from 3-PT — and scored seven points as the Magic lost for the first time, falling 85-80 at Detroit.
Didn’t help that center Dwight Howard fouled out in 17 minutes.
Meanwhile, Jason Kidd had a season-high 19 points in the Mavericks’ 96-85 win over Utah.
