    JO

A former commit (but now LSU commit) named Cassius Marsh from Oaks Christian H.S. just spoke this in an interview

Having been a longtime University of California Berkley commitment, Marsh discussed his reasoning for de-commitment and his new home.

“I’d have to say the losses and the manner that they lost the games,” said Marsh on his reasons for parting ways with Cal. “Losing with those types of margins and in those ways is just something that I didn’t want to be a part of.

“Watching the defensive line, they didn’t have a lot of opportunities to make plays. It just gradually got less and less appealing. On my official, it was fun, but it wasn’t what I expected. I was almost bored with Berkley already, so it just was less appealing.”

Can you comment for your readers?

You win some you lose some! Look this guy also had USC on his list. I guess he didn’t like the way they lost to to OU. Marsh has flip flopped more then any other recruit this year. Until he signs his name on the dotted line, I wouldn’t bet that he doesn’t end up at LSU. Even a moron knows that!

I looked and couldn’t find the interview Moron referred to so I have my doubts about it’s veracity. However, if the comments are accurate I have to smile. If that kid was bored in Berkeley, wait until he spends a couple of weeks in Baton Rouge Louisiana!

Here are the facts about Mr. Marsh:

    (1) He wants to major in Business

    (2) He has a 2.9 GPA and a 1060 SAT score

Do those numbers look like someone who can handle the rigors of Cal’s Business School? I think not. I’m glad Marsh went elsewhere, as he obviously isn’t of the Best mold in the honesty category.

    Now back to Cal football.

    Go BEARS!

I wish Cassius well in Louisiana, whoever is he is.

Thanks Moron for the link. I notice you happened to omit the statements that young Mr. Marsh had to say about U$C. His mom didn’t like U$C (mother’s intuition)and didn’t like the area. Having grown up about a mile and a half away from the University of South Central I can understand her concern about sending her suburban son to that urban environment. But LSU! Geez that choice shows that young man wouldn’t last one semester in the classroom at Berkeley.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>> Why do you say that? Is this more apparent Berkley arrogance?
