I was at the game, and I was very upset the way Cal played. They could do better than that, I know they could. There were no pass-rush, no sacks, zone coverage sucks, can’t tackle, and some pass plays were so obvious, and they couldn’t defended it, and lastly, Kevin Riley played with no confidence until no hurdle time. He took too long to develop plays, and last of all was the play book was hard to look at. It was so conventional and got beat down so easily.

Or, the curse of loosing to OSU is always still there.

And, the way they played like that. How are they going to beat the AZ, and the Furd. They got to find some answer quick. Or, this will go down fast.

Robert, I did a story about the offensive line a few weeks back and talked to Marshall. He is encouraged by the young talent on the line. He was generally happy with how the line was playing but acknolwedged it needed to improve. This, of course, was before Saturday’s game, which I thought was the O-line’s second-worst performance of the season, next to the Oregon game.

For Tedford to be quoted after the game that he was outcoached says it all. For what he gets paid he should never ever have any reason to think that, let alone grounds to say it.

Great news on JB!!! I hope he takes a good amount of time away.

J.O. We obviously hear a lot from Tedford and recently from Gregory. Any reason we don’t hear more from coaches like Marshall?

It would be interesting to hear his thoughts on what is happening with the offensive line!!

They are 9 games into the season now and they look high-school level. Three false starts in a row? No run-blocking or pass-blocking? They certainly don’t look like they are progressing. The inexperience excuse seems a little weak at this point in the season.
