Everyone’s jumping on the Stanfurd bandwagon. Just like USC, then Cal, then Oregon. It’s hard to see Stanford getting any better. That means they’ve peaked. Anything CAN happen in the Big Game. And this should be a great one. I think the Bears have a pretty good shot. Oregon and U$C took the ‘furd for granted. We won’t.

Great post Rollon. And the other thing I’d add…it’s very likely that Stanfurd WILL take us for granted. People are so quick to forget that this Cal team was picked in the preseason to finish second in the conference, with a number of credible analysts/writers picking Cal to win the Pac-10. Despite what all the Stanfurd bandwagoners are saying now, clearly, clearly the talent does exist on this Cal team to win the Big Game…Cal just needs to put together a solid, well executed game, and they’ll be fine.

Uh! Didn’t the Furd lost to Arizona that Cal just beat last week. I want to see something similar that Cal did 26 years ago and better. A surprice upset. Cal play better when they are underdog.

Stop their running game, get on Luck’s face, or sack him multiple times with the 3 men front +1 or +2 surprise harrasher. If Riley step up and finish in the red zone, CAL will prevail.

    Go Bears! Let’s have a 10-3 season.

And, Best wish for Best. Hope He will be back for the Bowl Game.

The bottom of the article mentioned tiger wood’s being the honorary captain, the article went on to mention that wood’s was a two time all-american at stanford.
But failed to mention that wood’s did not graduate from stanford. I’m also curious how many stanford events wood’s has attended in the last five years, or is he just jumping on the bandwagon.

I’m glad to see you are all a little more positive than I am. I think CAL will have a hard time beating Stanford this year, if they don’t get blown out. They are a well coached team and after a few years Harbaugh has them playing some hard-nosed football.

Sure we beat them good last year, but this year we have underachieved like JT’s teams the last few years. I hope I’m wrong, but it could be a long day for CAL fans if we don’t control the ball like we did against AZ and win the TOP game.

i think it’s funny that hardballs refers to stanfurd as “blue collar.” that’s good stuff. go bears!
