He will be the leader, unless he wants to go somewhere else, for a while. The program is close; they are not clicking on all cylinders and have not been since mid season 2004. That's a long time to not play great football but still be consistently good. They have had and do now have good talent. I believe the Bears, with Tedford in charge; will clean up as soon as a Bear team puts it all together. To be that caliber team a Cal QB will have to confidently play consistently well and the D will have to consistently be solid/very good across the board. With great facilities and a new stadium under construction the talent will continue to be there under Tedford. Just need to put it all together. Would thrill all Cal fans to see them put it all together tomorrow afternoon and upset our rival, who are playing at a strong level. Go Bears! My grandfather taught at $c for 25 years in the 60's, 70's and 80's and he can tell you the names of many many $c football stars who could barely read. We are talking big names here.
