Well, it really doesn’t help when the refs give us an extremely poor spot – Riley was easily a half a yard over the first down line, and they marked him short. And, of course, it goes downhill from there. Why wasn’t that reviewed?

Hold the phones. As long as the coaches don’t shoot us in the foot by continuing to run the wildcat formation on consecutive plays at the goal line, we have got a shot here. Remember, this is the Big Game so all bets are off. But for one long run by Gerhart, the defense looks solid. Let’s hope they can keep it up. GO BEARS!

Well, I was wrong. 14-0, and it wasn’t over. Never expected Tedford to finally recognize that power running would win the game, and never expected Harbaugh to be the mendicant.

Geez, Eric- You wrote off the Bears less than 1/2 hour after the opening kickoff! What is up with that? Being a CAL fan means being able to deal with adversity. You, my friend, are no CAL fan!
