This was an excuse used to comfort those who are sad about the Pac being down this year, compared to other conferences.
I wanted to say – let’s now do a study of the ACC, the Big East, the Big 12, and the Big 10 and see how many players THEY all have in the NBA that could still be playing in their leagues.
I suspect we’d find similar numbers.

My point is that you’ve got to reload. Kevin Durant could still be at Texas, yet Texas is kicking butt. UNC loses early entry first rounders annually, yet that doesn’t stop them. And if your retort is that Cal can never be like one of those schools, I’ll beg to differ.
