The only two wins for the conference have been for a UCLA team playing a low-caliber Temple squad, and $C which played an unranked BC team close to home and still needed help from the replay officials to eke out a win. There’s no excuse for playing so poorly in a conference full of parity and apparent mediocrity.

Hopefully Tedford reexamines the QB position – I’m not saying Riley should be replaced since we have no idea what our backups have to offer, but Tedford’s gone with ‘experience’ in the past with Longshore over Riley, and it didn’t help much. And Riley’s improvement from last year isn’t nearly as great as it should be given all the playing time and first team reps he’s had. I think next year will definitely be a rebuilding season, but with some of the recruits we have coming in, Tedford’s encouraging attitude, and our improved facilities, I’m confident that we’ll get the ball rolling in the right direction again.
