How many of our recruits are ranked? I guess living in Texas I didn’t see or hear much about Cal’s overall recruiting rankings in basketball. Has monty gotten us some top players or are they all “diamonds in the rough” that others passed on?

SteveNTexas,
Franklin is rated by Rivals.com as the nation’s No. 72 overall prospect, 6-8 F Richard Solomon of LA-Price HS is No. 101, his 6-5 SG teammate Allen Crabbe is No. 102. Rossi is not included in the Rivals’ top-150, but is regarded as a 3-star prospect by them. Take it all for what it’s worth — not too much until they get on the floor in college and we see what they really can do. But Monty landed a good class — pretty much one solid prospect at every position . . . except center.

Speaking of centers…does Monty have a big man recruit lined up? He has one scholarship left.
