North Carolina lost again, this time 75-60 at home to a Virginia squad that had won in Chapel Hill just five times in 68 previous meetings. The defending national champions are 13-8 overall and 2-4 in the ACC after their worst home loss under coach Roy Williams. They lost only seven games the previous two seasons combined.
