Football: No extra TV for Cal

–The Pac-10 announced only one additional game to be televised by Fox Sports Net this season — the Nov. 6 game between Arizona State and USC. That means the number of televised Cal games still stands at four, with the possibility of other games being added during the season as part of six and 12-day windows the conference has with the networks.

Joe Starkey and KGO have to be happy. I just cannot believe the game against Davis won’t be televised. Riveting.

Too bad the NCAA does not have the power to sanction a school’s fans too.

I’m more concerned about the drug epidemic in LA. This is unacceptable and immoral.

So the reports saying the sanctions announcement would be coming on Friday were wrong. That does not mean its not going to happen. Check the column that Dan Wetzel wrote about it on Rivals/Yahoo.
