do they have to have 12 or more to have a championship game? does that mean texas must finish first out of 10 in order to get an auto bcs bid?

Texas pulled the wool over the rest of their Big 12 friends and got away with it, so far. Can’t believe their rivals will stand for this for long. I would not! If Texas wants their own network they should go independent like ND. But they didn’t have to because OU, A&M, TexTech, Kansas and the rest bent over and took their medicine and like it.
Wow, shocked they went along with them. Really really shocked they would become step children to UT.
Something smells fishy and doubt this deal is over. How could it be? Unless the details that satisfyed the rest of the league are not out yet?

Oklahoma and rest of the Big (10) 12 are a bunch of chumps. They allowed Texas to get a bigger share of revenues in the original Big 12, which led to discontent and ultimately Nebraska’s departure. Now they let Texas have their own TV network — again leading to an uneven playing field. It’s only a matter of time before the current Big 12 implodes when the other schools finally realize they are only perpetuating Texas’ dominance of the conference because Texas can out-spend them all. Clearly the only one of these schools worthy of the Pac10′s academic standards is Texas because they have out-smarted the rest of them, who don’t understand that they’re just setting themselves up for failure.
