Ex-Cal star Patrick Christopher and the Detroit Pistons had the day off in NBA summer league at Las Vegas, but there were a couple intriguing games:
– No. 1 draft choice John Wall had 24 points, eight assists and eight turnovers in his debut, leading Washington to an 84-79 win over the Warriors.
– Former Stanford star Landry Fields had 13 poins, five rebounds and two steals in 25 1/2 minutes, but the New York Knicks lost 100-90 to the Denver Nuggets.

Wow, you failed to mention that Jerome Randle played in the same game as Wall, playing 11 minutes with 6 points on 3-7 shooting (0-3 3PT)

Right you are — it got past me that Jerome had moved over to the Wizards’ roster after spending a week with Orlando. Will keep an eye out from here on.
