Cal should dump Tedford and hire Riley. With the talent in the bay area, he could win more games than Teddy.

Abe – one of the reasons Stanley wanted out of his LOI was to stay in Florida, closer to family, so don’t expect him in Berkeley but rather playing along side Martin.

the only positive that comes out of this, is that when we get stuck in the godforsaken pac12 north, this year’s projected top 2 teams will still have some respect.

Mike Riley is a great colllege football coach who always gets more out of his talent than just about any coach in the country. He is also a better person. When it comes to winning it all I would really like to see OSU take the whole thing (since the NCAA has determined to punish us). It has to do with Riley’s ability to put together a system which can maximize the talents of 3* rated players. I have also noticed that he doesn’t attempt to out coach everyone. The players believe in the system and they win. There are other coaches who coach too much and get into their player’s heads. You can see the hesitation before they throw the ball. The wide outs are unsure of their routes and drop too many passes. The running backs do dangerous things in order to stretch for my yardage. Those are all signs of being over coached.

Sorry this is not related to the the above post but a JC transfer LB just got released by the trojunks, he wanted out for obvious reasons, and i was thinking with the departure of Martin maybe we pick him up but then it occurred to me chances are he wont qualify academically. no offense.
