Keenan Allen’s first “catch” actually was ruled a lateral, so it goes down as a 17-yard rush. Allen has three carries for 38 yards and a touchdown and two catches for 27 yards.

This game isn’t on TV here in Texas and unless Cal starts off with a top opponent, the game won’t get much attention.
Looking at the stats- it seems into the 3rd qtr UC Davis has only 8 yards rushing on 8 attempts and 28 yrs passing on 14 attempts.
Of course the question of the game will be
Are they that bad .. or are we that good?
The answer lies somewhere in between.

The bears have played very very well. I like what I see. Keenan Allen is the real deal. A man among boys. He will be in the heisman talk next year and maybe even this year. Riley played well but not great. Overall, a solid performance. Sweeney looking decent too but needs a lot of experence.

Just sayin, schools like Alabama,Florida and USC get 10 Keenan Allen types(5*) a year, every year.

Yeah, well, good for them, Rocko. I’ve got news for you: none of those teams got Allen and they all wanted him.
Good for Cal on having such a talented young playmaker!
Go Bears!

Rocko,
you are a classic half empty naysayer all 5 stars are not game changers we have one. I for one am tired of whiners /complainers like you on this and other forums with your negative comments .Stay positive this may be the year. A good start for now, lets see how well we do against the BUFFALOES, and yes I am a proud CAL alumnus
