Not only because it gives Cal a legit star. It is taking a lot of the attention off of the pieces of this team that are actually going to beat you. Guys like Vereen and Riley can now stay under the radar. Put all the attention on Allen and then those guys will win it in the end. Either way. I’m happy.

In a sense it will keep him grounded, because he’ll get used to coming out and talking more even when things go poorly. I always got the sense Jahvid and Jackson were a little overprotected.
