I talked this morning with David Kravish’s high school coach, who said the 6-foot-9 power forward’s weekend visit to Berkeley went very well.
“He said it was great,” said Mike Hilbert, coach at Lee’s Summit High in a Kansas City, Mo., suburb. “I said, ‘Oh no, now you’ve got a tough decision,’ because he really liked his visit to Iowa.”
Kravish visited Iowa several weeks ago and has a recruit trip to Colorado set for this weekend.
“He said, `Coach, I have no idea what to do now,’ ” Hilbert said. “He had a tremendous time (at Cal), really enjoyed the campus, really enjoyed getting to look around. He really enjoyed the time he enjoyed with the coching staff and teammates out there.
“He was hoping through the process he could start eliminating (schools), but he liked them both equally. That’s what he said. He doesn’t know which way to go. He’s still very much up in the air.”

Is this coach authorized to be a David Kravish mouthpiece?
If I were a recruit, I don’t think I’d appreciate people talking for me.

Relax. It’s more common in basketball

I’m relaxed.
Was just asking a question, and it’s nothing I’m up in arms about, as I don’t know Kravish or even care about him.

This kid sounds so legit. I can’t wait to see him on the squad. I look at some of his footage, and he’s a beast. He’ll take us to the tourny for sure!
