Wish we could mix a later kick in somewhere to get a little more tailgate time. Hope Oregon or ASU are 3:00 or later.
UCLA is a huge game for the Bears!

I was trying to watch the game in a Los Gatos restaurant Saturday night, and was very annoyed that the Giants broadcast went into extra innings on Comcast and prevented my watching the first half.
I live in So Cal, and it will be nice to watch a national broadcast from start to finish. Cal really needs the bye week to prepare for UCLA’s dramatically improving pistol offense. It just looks to me like Texas didn’t bother to show up for that game. UCLA is not as good as Nevada, and very beatable.

Rickey and the pistol offense are probably salivating to play you guys after watching Nevada destroy your D.

I’m with you on this one Steve. It’s better for the local economy to have games a little later than 12:30. The UCLA game is always a fun one to watch. The second UC.

I hate to say it, but we’ll find a way to lose.

We better come out in our Gold unis and pissed off, I know I will.
September 28th, 2010 at 5:34 am

September 28th, 2010 at 8:05 am
Haha nice rollon

would be kinda cool if everybody wore gold though. or brown when ucla has the ball, and then switch to white when we have it.

Love the positive attitude Larry!
We’ll for sure rock the Gold/mustard unis.
Two weeks to prepare for the pistol–I have faith our D will get prepared and get mean.
Payback time, Bears!

as long as we don’t crash the QB on every play, we should be fine. that simple adjustment…staying home and covering both the RB and the QB, was all we needed. We had better athletes than NV. It’s that simple. We have better athletes than UCLA, too. I think we’ll win this one 49-17.

Soes Cal receive less money from television if games do not air on ABC, ESPN, or Fox Sports but only on regional carriers? I assume the answer is yes, but does someone know?
September 28th, 2010 at 1:21 pm
Cal just cut baseball, gymnastics, and lacrosse, and slashed funding for rugby. Ouch.
September 29th, 2010 at 8:04 am
Okanes;
I wonder what is UCLA’s reaction having to drop baseball and gymnastics
September 29th, 2010 at 8:07 am
Dropping 2 major sport programs certainly can’t be positive while trying to recruit in other sports.
